Jake didn’t become an elite transformation coach overnight, he earned it through years of obsession, trial, and relentless progression. He started training at 15, tagging along to the gym with his mates as a skinny 67kg kid who just wanted to level up his basketball and chase the dream of playing college ball in the States. Within 18 months he packed on 15kg, hitting 82kg and realising he wasn’t just “getting bigger”… he was getting seriously strong. That spark pulled him into powerlifting, and from 17 to 20 he climbed from 82kg to 92kg, before going all-in on strength and size, eventually bulking over 125kg in the next six years. He built a reputation coaching performance, strength and mass, and became a personal trainer at 21, but as the years went on he looked in the mirror and asked himself a brutal question: where has this taken me? He wasn’t unhappy with his results, he was unhappy with what they’d become. So he flipped the switch, tightened his nutrition, and executed his first real cut from around 120 ish down to 102kg, proving to himself he could control his appetite as well as he could build his body. Since hitting his 30s, Jake has maintained an incredibly lean physique year-round, dialling in every metric that actually matters, health, digestion, sleep, recovery, training output, hormones, and the micronutrient detail most people ignore. And unlike most coaches, his real-world experience is backed by a deep academic foundation, studying Biomedical Science gave him the ability to apply scientific evidence to every decision, not just bro-science and opinions. Now, through Team SSS, his mission is simple: build an elite physique and longevity for every man who commits to the process, and prove that while it’s not easy… it’s absolutely worth it, and it’s maintainable for life if you’ve got the will to work.

Connor is 23 years old and has been immersed in fitness for over seven years.

His journey began at just 16 years old, weighing 60kg after spending most of his teenage years playing rugby league. While the sport built his work ethic, Connor knew he wanted more, a stronger physique, greater discipline, and full control over his body.

In his first six months of training, he gained 12kg, bringing himself to 72kg. But instead of being satisfied, he looked in the mirror and saw potential still untapped. By the time he finished high school, Connor had built himself up to 82kg, the point where his true bodybuilding journey began.

By 21, Connor had reached 103kg and committed fully to his first bodybuilding preparation. He cut down to 73kg on show day, an experience that completely reshaped his mindset and ignited a deeper passion for bodybuilding.

Throughout this entire journey, Connor balanced intense training and competition prep while working full-time as a qualified electrician. But as his physique, knowledge, and results continued to grow, so did his vision.

Last year, Connor made the decision to put down the tools and go all-in on helping other men achieve physiques they once believed were impossible.

For the past three years, Connor has been mentored and coached by Jake from Team SSS. Working side by side, they’ve refined his training systems, nutrition strategies, and performance mindset, allowing his physique to progress exponentially week by week.

Now, Connor is building one of the most impressive physiques of his career as he prepares for the stage once again, with a bodybuilding show set for September 2026.

That means consistent fat loss (for most 1.5-2kg, this is weight dependent), improved body composition, better performance, and stronger health markers, not short-term drops followed by rebounds. Health concerns aren’t a barrier here, they’re part of the process. We’ve helped men and women improve and, in many cases, reverse conditions such as fatty liver, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, chronic joint and back pain, fatigue from excess bodyweight, and sleep apnea. Everything we do prioritises health first, using structured training, nutrition, and recovery strategies that support long-term wellbeing while still delivering real physique results.

Do you tailor food plans for specific eating requirements?

Yes, all nutrition is fully tailored to the individual. We account for religious and cultural requirements such as Ramadan and fasting periods, vegan or vegetarian diets, medical and digestive considerations including immune issues, Crohn’s, gall bladder removal, or post-stomach stapling, as well as allergies, intolerances, and personal likes and dislikes. Nutrition is built around what you can eat, not what looks good on a generic plan, and we also educate you on how to make the right food choices when eating out, travelling, or in social situations, so you’re never guessing and can stay consistent in the real world.
